Constructed of Birch for the carcass and drawers, pine firring strips for the face frame. Legs cut and routed from a single pine 2 X 4. Raised panels made from pine glue-up. Trim, legs, stiles, and face frame stained Minwax Dark Walnut. Drawer fronts and top stained Minwax Golden Pecan. 3 coats poly. Drawers sized and notched for Pendaflex files. This piece more then any other was made as an experiment. This is the first panel glue up and raised panel door construction I have done. I experimented with the leg design and stain colors. This will keep the Wood Princess's teacher crap in one central location in my office. | |||||||||
